We offer Parcel and Priority post options, via USPS, for shipping your packages. We do this based on the weight of your package and the distance it is traveling. Rest assured that we do not calculate the shipping fees, the post office does, so whatever the price for shipping is, it comes directly from the post office.
U.S. Shipping Timelines
If you pick PARCEL post it sometimes can take up to 2 weeks (sometimes even 3 weeks!) to receive your package once it is shipped from our warehouse. Regrettably, for Alaska, Hawaii and APO/FPO orders it can sometimes take even longer! We deliver everything to the post office within 48 hours (except on holidays) but once it is in their hands, we no longer have control over how long it takes to get to you. If your project is time sensitive, we recommend you pick PRIORITY mail. Thanks for your understanding!

More Shipping FAQs
Q: What types of shipping class services do you offer?
A: We offer two delivery methods: Parcel and Priority via USPS.
Q: Do any location restrictions apply to priority delivery options?
A: Yes. Unfortunately, we currently cannot provide priority delivery service to the following locations:
P.O. Box addresses
U.S. territories (Guam, Puerto Rico and the U.S. Virgin Islands)
Q: What does “business day” refer to for shipping delivery time estimates?
A: We do not ship on weekends or holidays. So, when estimating your order’s arrival date, please do not include weekends and holidays in the number of delivery days.
Q: How does “order processing” factor into my order’s arrival date?
A: To estimate your order’s delivery time, we include both the shipping time and the order processing time. We typically process orders within 1-2 business days. However, if an item becomes out of stock after you’ve placed your order, order processing may take longer and delay your shipment.
Q: How do I know an item has a handling surcharge?
A: Due to the size and weight of items, some items may have a per item handling surcharge. These items are noted in the product description and the surcharges will be automatically calculated and shown in your shopping cart. See “Shipping Restrictions” for additional details.
Q: Can all items be Priority shipped?
A: No. Some bulky or oversized items cannot be shipped via priority service. We will be happy to ship these items standard delivery. If you already have other items in your cart that you’d like to ship via an express service, please place a separate order for these items.
Q: Do you ship internationally?
A: Absolutely! Just call us for a quote.
Q: Do you ship to military bases?
A: Yes. Please keep in mind that delivery to military addresses may take longer than the stated times.
Q: Do you ship to post office boxes?
A: Yes. All P.O. box orders will be delivered by The United States Postal Service (USPS).
Q: Do you ship to rural route numbers?
Q: Can I send items to multiple addresses with the same order?
A: Not at this time. To ship items to different addresses, you need to submit separate orders for each address.
Q: What ship methods do you use?
A: We primarily deliver Parcel and Priority post via USPS.
Q: Where is my backorder?
A: At this time FWD does not process backorders. If your item is out of stock at the time of fulfillment we will cancel the out of stock product, ship the balance of your order, adjust your order total including shipping, and send you an email notifying you of the change.
Q: Why did my order come in multiple boxes or from multiple carriers?
A: We may ship your order to you in multiple boxes or via multiple carriers due to:
The order size – large orders often are split into multiple boxes for more efficient delivery.
The item size – some items required special handling and packaging and thus a separate box.
The item’s source – some items will come to you directly from the manufacturer and may be in a different box and/or via a different carrier than the remaining items in your order.
